 The province of Daqing in Heilongjiang region, northeast China, has chosen the software Italian Group Dedalus to digitize its hospital system. The provision of a digital solution, the platform interoperability ‘X1V1′ and its related services, it was possible to computerize the health facilities of the municipalities (about 1,300 between rural and urban hospitals, clinics, outpatient clinics, specialized centers for Western medicine and traditional Chinese, laboratories, radiology centers, pharmacies), to bring them together in a centralized network evolved able to collect and manage all clinical, administrative and health of citizens (about 3 million inhabitants). The project, costing € 6 million, is already at an advanced stage of completion and is expected the full operation of all functions by March 2015.

 The Dedalus Group, based in Florence, specializes in software solutions for the clinical and healthcare sector. The project in the province of Daqing involves the installation of computer systems in facilities that are not equipped, the technological upgrading of existing ones, creating centralized registry of citizens with the provision of a health card unique, management via web services doctors disbursed, scanning documents like reports, prescriptions, visits, medications and images, the development of telemedicine and tele-services that allow you to eliminate queues at branches and departments, the management of prevention and home care.
