V ictaulic presents Victaulic Tools for Revit, an innovative add-in for Autodesk® Revit® MEP 
that improves design productivity, solve the routing problems of the pipes and allows the realization of the construction documentation and prefabrication within Revit. Victaulic Tools for Revit allows you to design the mechanical systems in half the time, improving efficiency and productivity.
The productivity tools offered by Victaulic Tools for Revit allow the design of intelligent virtual models, complete with all the mechanical details, including those of the pump room, in half the time compared to that required by normal techniques Revit drawing. Advanced drawing and editing tools require a few clicks to create the most complex piping systems. Among the features that facilitate the routing activities, you may include:
– Pipe Splitting : automatically segments the pipe in the minimum and maximum length predetermined sections, joining the various sections with pairs specified during the drawing operation.
– rotate Selection : wheel angle specified selected portions of the model within the 3D view.
– Resize Selection : change with a single click the size of all the components in a selected area.
– Delete pipe : removes a selected pipe and connects the system to a junction at ‘ other, realizing correctly the necessary connection points.
– pipe / custom Tagging : automates the labeling, placing custom identifiers on the pipes and other components of the model.
– family Lookup : exports and imports lookup tables used by the currently open family.
– directory Lookup : analyzes the directory of families and import or export all tables in looking for all families.
Victaulic Tools for Revit allows the execution of prefabrication activities within Revit, improving productivity. The user can create construction drawings and details of prefabrication, complete with work estimates and information on manufacturers, without the need for additional software. Among the features that enhance the efficiency of the manufacturing process can be indicated:
– Create Assembly : create documents for the mechanical plant prefabrication, ensuring the correct presence of all the nested families in the assembly and avoiding the inadvertent omission of individual components. They are also available in plan and section drawings for parts of selected system (spool drawings).
– Procurement Tool : automates the creation of bills of materials for the selected system section.
– Create the spool fabrication sheet (pipe nipples) from the 3D view.
