ROME – The Tesla Model S are another step toward autonomous driving, at least those that circulate in the United States. Thus, the software update 7.0 dell’Autopilot Tesla (replaces the 6.2 software) issued a week ago, you can download in the US and allows the Model S to follow independently highway curves, changing lanes upon activation of the turn signal , to recognize the potential side collision and to park individually in parallel. These functions are in addition to those already present on the European Model S, that is, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control that will allow cars to drive more updated without driver intervention in the arteries expressways. Version 7.0 of the software, finally, to share information among themselves concerning the conditions of the roads, traffic and parking, features that will be extended with the 7.1.
The software update is Tesla like over the air, that does not require connecting cables or devices but is through the internet in the car.
