A few days ago, Cohen is officially an employee Apple and his task will be to work on software iCar or, at least, improve the functions of Carplay. Most opt for the first option because the skills of the engineer are focused on their own learning software for private cars, through which you can manage certain actions as maneuvers and parking. A development of this software could lead to the creation of a car with auto-pilot.
For some time, Cohen worked in Nvidia right on a program of learning software for car, in collaboration with Tesla. The main focus of Cohen was just the machine learning for cars, and this specialization will be very helpful to Apple for its project “iCar”.
