Establishing itself increasingly the era of mobile cloud, also grow expectations towards IT. Today there are millions of applications and billions of users who claim that everything within their business running smoothly – and that’s not all! Also they want to be able to work anywhere, from any device and with peace of mind knowing that corporate data is safe. The colossal weight of this request results in an enormous pressure for IT departments that, until now, were largely seen as simply “those guys under the tables that have to connect the cables.”
Now But we face a world of Software-Defined. That, in a nutshell, means that IT can no longer be the invisible backbone of business innovation and operate largely in “stealth mode”. Now it is necessary that IT bait from under the table to share their ideas with the company. On the other side, a successful Software-Defined is the one that understands the role of IT, sees IT as a partner and uses it as a tool to help their reality to look forward, in a ‘ time when you need to be smarter, react faster and operate more fluid accompanying the growth of the business.
The cycle of IT
The IT is necessary for the ‘application and the deployment of business ideas. A function IT focused on application through the simple application deployment cycle by analyzing data associated with that application, its use and consequently updating the application.
It sounds simple, right? Wrong! The role of IT is to ensure that throughout this cycle, the application remains of interest in the business.
The truth is that while we are still thinking about how to make everything work, virtual giants like Facebook Google and eBay have already implemented this cycle several times in one day. The traditional IT, however, is burdened with aspects such as the existing procedures, upgrade cycles promoted by vendors and processes “industry standards” rigid and formalized, involving the completion of a cycle about once every four years and require several months to implement it!
It is necessary that this process for the IT era has dramatically accelerated Software-Defined. How is this possible? Customers should begin to look at self-service infrastructures which meet the business requirements and enable users of the infrastructure to focus on applications, not on servers. We think that this gap can be filled by a Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC). In short, an environment independent of the hardware which is composed of a series of “white box” and where the real meaning is placed in the software. A world where companies can get what they want and where IT provides what they need without having to peek in secret. As IT professionals think of relating to a future “white box” and speed up the cycle of IT, it will determine, ultimately, if a business will be able to evolve and prosper when all that is “Software-Defined” become a reality.
Vision of the future of IT
Worldwide Software-Defined every industry is already changing, some fear this change but the summary of all is that a fund for environment liquid will create new business opportunities for IT within the company and in the business world in general.
The technology at the heart of this “split” with respect to the two most powerful forces that are driving change in the world of Software-Defined are the mobility and the cloud. Successful organizations have recognized the need to exploit the potential of these forces to help companies, despite all this today still represents a challenge.
We need to map a location to be eliminated in silos business, especially those that separate applications from traditional native cloud applications. It is a future in which we shall restrict the gap between IT and development, and in which the EN will get a best positioned to handle, take care and ensure the safety of a surface of systems and networks most extended, due an increasing number of new and emerging technologies.

In VMware believe is necessary to bridge these divisions, bringing together and managing it all from a single hybrid cloud offering a unique setting from which to build, run and manage any application across multiple data centers and compared to more suppliers – even viewing an entire data center or multiple data centers as a single machine. It is a complete new model for the provision of IT services, which encourages a new form of IT, “brave” and is, by its nature, immediate, fluid and safe.
In essence it is a methodology optimized for the development and provision of all applications, which means that both the traditional client-server applications, both those native cloud modern can be used on any device securely. In the world Software-Defined IT must address these challenges and uncertainties with a fearless attitude and decided, and make strategic moves and well-calculated in the name of the business.

We know that in a business Software-Defined there is no ready-made solutions but moves precise, calculated and decisive, who can be implemented to ensure that the business remains agile and secure. The new era of IT is not to know what you should do, but to act on what they actually can and should be done when the time is right.
