Yesterday, Apple unveiled – during the WWDC 2015 preview of watchOS 2. , the first major software update for Apple Watch , which will provide app developers the tools to create faster and more powerful run natively on Apple Watch.
Now developers can use all the hardware features of Apple Watch , including Digital Crown, Taptic Engine and the heartbeat sensor, along with the API software to create a new app. WatchOS 2 include new dials, information from third-party app depicted as complications and new communication features in Mail, Friends and Digital Touch.

We think users will appreciate Apple Watch can see the information of their favorite apps directly from the face of the watch and the many new experiences that developers will imagine that now have access to even more innovative features of Apple Watch.
WatchOS 2 allows users to convert their favorite photo in a new face for Apple Watch , or to see pictures of their album whenever you raise your pulse with new dials and Photo Album. With the dial time-lapse, can choose from a selection of video time-lapse shot over 24 hours in town features, like New York, London or Shanghai.
The new feature allows Time Travel users scroll with the Digital Crown to explore future events (and passed), including meetings or activities, the temperatures for the week and data of third-party app, for example flight information.
Newer software for Apple Watch offers even more creative ways to communicate. With Mail, you can respond quickly using dictation, Smart Replies or emoji. You can create multiple screens of Friends, each with up to 12 friends, and they can add new ones directly from Apple Watch. Digital Touch allows you to track and send drawings with many colors together, providing even more tools to express creativity.
Other functions watchOS 2 include:
- Night mode, Watch that turns Apple into an alarm clock, in which the Digital Crown and the side key act as buttons to snooze the alarm and shutdown;
- the ability to use with Apple Pay loyalty programs and credit cards and debit cards issued by stores, aggiungendolinell’app Wallet;

WatchOS 2 will be available in the fall as a free upgrade to Apple Watch . Watch Apple requires iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 6 Plus or iPhone with iOS 8.2 or later. The SDK for iOS 9 beta with WatchKit for watchOS 2 is available immediately for iOS Developer Program members.
