Software Mantua for Chianti – Gazzetta di Mantova

CURTATONE. A combination that has been going on for eight years and that is paying off. That’s what going on since 2007 between Cecchi, historical company of Chianti Classico managed and organized by the brothers Cesare and Andrea Cecchi which is located in Castellina in Chianti, in Siena, and the Replica Sistemi di Curtatone that deals with software for managing warehouse logistics and transport.

Company careful to combine the tradition of the earth with the innovation of technology, Cecchi is a reference in the national and international market with about 50% of production exported to over 50 countries in the world.

The partnership with Replica Sistemi began in 2007 with the implementation of WMS StockSystem and consolidated over time by installing DFDDogana for operating the customs warehouse, tax and VAT, with migrating to StockSystemEvolution and the transition to the new ERP Microsoft Dynamics NAV with NAV vertical Wine.

“Replica Sistemi has improved our whole management system, the administrative sector to the commercial, from the warehouse to the logistics” has explained Fabrizio Righi, head of IT Casa Vinicola Luigi Cecchi e Figli srl.

The decision to rely on Mantua was dictated by, for Cecchi, to improve the management of logistics flows and production processes with the objective of obtaining a full traceability of the bottles produced, the barrels, the hills and through the introduction of automated pallet logistics SSCC label. After careful selection, the choice fell on offering Replication Systems, which also has offices in Bolzano, Monza and Istanbul. After eight years of working the Cecchi (30 million euro turnover, over 7 and a half million bottles produced) it was able to increase productivity and efficiency and reduce errors and customer complaints, as well as manage more profit orders and distribution of the product.
