The update dedicated to the new Lumia 640 and XL 640 , as we learn directly from the support forum, brings firmware of the two devices to version 02177.00000 .15184.36xxx and OS comes to release 8.10.15148.160 which coincides with the latest version of Windows Phone and is the same that they are receiving, in this time, Lumia 735 and Lumia 830. - Enabled support for Voice over LTE (VoLTE) to selected mobile operators

The update in question should be available, for now, only the No Brand models of Lumia 640 and XL 640 Lumai . Users who have not received notification of this update, can check availability by going to the Settings menu and then select Updates and then Check Update. Do not hesitate to tell us the availability of the new update on your models by leaving a comment here below, in the box provided. For now, our Lumia 640 has not received the update notification. In any case, the release schedule of this new software update for Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL should be completed within a few days.
