Facebook launches an educational software for schools – The Technical School

The company Mark Zuckerberg launches software for schools that can encourage children study at their own pace of learning.

While there is always the debate on the use of social networking in education, the important companies in Silicon Valley, announced on 3 September that together non-profit organization, Summit Public Schools (SPS) , is working on the launch of a software for schools that can encourage children study at their own pace of learning.

The software allows teachers to design the lessons tailored for its class, with the ability to create customized and interactive quizzes. This platform will be separate from Facebook and free for all users. It is currently being evaluated by some 30 institutions. Keep in mind that the initiative is strongly supported by Zuckerberg. In this regard I want to remember what I wrote in 2010: “The social network Facebook had, at the time of its creation, the aim of maintaining the links between universities and high schools around the world, in fact, in 2005 were recorded for the first universities, while in 2006, Facebook has spread to high schools and companies. Today Facebook has turned into a social network that involves all users across the Internet, creating the basis for a complementary use to teaching discipline. “
