Performance Impact
We tested the latest products AVG, Bitdefender, Kaspersky, Trend Micro and Webroot on an Acer Aspire E1 with Windows 8 64-bit, an Intel Core i3 and 4GB of RAM. We deliberately chose a computer underpowered so any drop in performance were particularly visible. To test the Acer Aspire E1 PCMark7 get 2,191 points without antivirus installed.
