A former software engineer for Windows Phone works with the new … – Multiplayer.it

Announced some time ago by Satoru Iwata, NX is the codename of the next Nintendo console. It was not clear whether the platform will be the successor to the Wii U (as seems likely, more than anything else as a matter of comprehensive feedback) or a new handheld, but the presence in the development team of a former software engineer for Windows Phone makes least reflect on the possibilities in dance.

In the LinkedIn profile of Lu Yang, currently principal test engineer at Nintendo, we read that the engineer has worked with Microsoft on Windows Phone and is now involved in achieving development tools for Wii U and Nintendo’s new generation not yet announced. It may be that the mobile experience of Yang has been used by Nissan to create a new handheld console, or that the company is moving on several fronts, as indeed it would also be natural: the Nintendo 3DS was released in 2011, Wii U in 2012; So both, if desired, can lend themselves to a passing of the torch.
