Georgi Draganov is the new coach Golem Software Palmi. The Calabrian society has made official yesterday after conducting the negotiations in the strictest of confidence. The new coach is the successor of Ivan Ivanov Dimitrov, who resigned after the defeat recorded in Pesaro two days ago. Georgi Draganov, 61, of Bulgarian nationality, is very experienced coach as well as thorough knowledge of the women’s volleyball and men at European level. The coaching career of Draganov speaks for itself among the other teams he coached, as regards the male formations, Avellino (B1), Cosenza (B1) and Power (B1). For a few months he led the Matera in A2 (contract then interrupted by consensus). Among the teams he coached female Draganov, however, several teams including the Aster Rome (A2) and, in 2005, the National Junior Bulgaria at the World disputatisi in Morocco. Draganov (known in as George), before becoming a coach, he was also very good volleyball player. In his long career he has dressed for 100 times the national team of Bulgaria. Draganov has already taken direct contact with the environment Golem Palmi and team leaders meeting on Friday evening. The new coach has faced girls analyzing the game last Thursday against Entu Olbia. Right now Draganov urged the girls to do their best by sharing good September 2 played against the team of Sardinia, is third in the standings.
