Apple Watch has received Tuesday the first Software Update : the operating system OS Watch therefore comes to the version 1.0.1 ; The update introduces several “improvements to performance” more than the usual “bug fixes”.

The update from Apple Watch weighs 51.6MB and includes 300 new Emoji – added with iOS 8.3 and OS X 10.10.3, improvements to Siri, accessibility, distance and media during exercises and walk, third-party applications and calculating calories for indoor cycling and rowing. Also added other seven languages: Brazilian Portuguese, Danish, Dutch, Swedish, Russian, Thai and turkish.
The updated can not be installed directly from the device as of iPhone and iPad: it will be necessary to pass though the application Apple Watch . To install, you have to go inside of the app Apple Watch, and General Software Updates; then select the option Download and Install. Watch Apple will have to be borne by at least 50%, and connected to the same Wi-Fi iPhone .
Warning : Do not confuse this with update what I have described a few days ago, still “work in progress”: this will feature the “Smart leashing”, “Find my watch”, which will allow the user to track, block and even delete all the data remotely in case in which the device is stolen or you astray.
Most likely new firmware for Watch the Apple will be announced during the WWDC 2015 , the next convention organized by Apple for developers. So we will know all the details about no later than 8 June. Watch Apple is not yet available in Italy and is likely to arrive in our country already upgraded to the new version 1.0.1 Watch OS.
